better photo project week eight

look. that’s right look. what am i on about? well let me tell you. this week on the better photo project annie is talking about looking and finding inspiration by looking through other peoples blogs & tumblr accounts, which i can confirm i do lots & often. actually more time than i care to divulge! i also spend an incredible amount of time, verging on rude, gazing and drooling at delicious photography on pinterest & instagram too.

apart from looking at others for inspiration, this week i chose to look up for inspiration. some times it is very easy to focus too much on what is gong on around us, not that this is wrong, no no no, this is good, very good.  but we can easily miss things, as we don’t necessarily look up as much as we probably should, and there’s a whole heap of stuff happening up there you know, go and have a look, i do not lie!

I love the angle of your dangle! Sage words though, we can get so caught up in life that we end up looking ahead only. I’ll look to the skies this week *prays it doesn’t rain*

Thanks for joining in again hombre – hope your weekend is a cheese filled delight!

I’ve been trying to experiment with angles and to be honest it’s been mostly about me climbing onto tables so far! I will start looking up this week

How funny, I am forever telling my kids and Mr.G to remember to look up, there are always hidden beauties when we tear our eyes away from the hecticness going on at street-level. I love to look up while wandering around in London (although not too often so I don’t walk into people and lamposts!) – there is always something to see, and that shot you’ve used is a great example. Hope that you can come and join in the Tuesday #AllAboutYou link and pin party x

yep walking into stuff wouldn’t be such a great thing to do, especially in front of the kids can you imagine how long you be reminded of it?!

i’ll pop over and have a look at your pin it party in a moment, being an avid pinner an all x

I completely agree with what you’ve said here. I love looking taking pictures from different angles, adds a whole new perspective and can really be quite striking.

    Great photo! x

So well captured. I get a bit obsessed looking at others for inspiration. I love this perspective especially with the person walking across the bridge.

It’s very true about noticing what’s around you (and nosing at other people’s photos!). I do it far too often albeit in-between work. I love this photo, great perspective and the sunshine is wonderful. Sorry late commenting x
