year two done. who would have believed it? i didn’t think i would get through year one but I did and then without even thinking year two just kind of happened. it seemed so natural to do. i have my phone with me everywhere i go and i love a good photo opportunity. friends have commented that going anywhere with me can often take a long time as i’m always stopping to take a picture of this or that. i’ve found the project slightly addictive and have really loved being able to look back through the year and now two years and instantly being reminded of what happened on that exact day. a photographic journey of HPMcQ. and so we start year three, will you join me?
january – february – march – april
september – october – november – december
Each and everyone of them is a stunning photo. You’re really really talented, Vanessa x
thank you carolin, that’s very kind of you to say x
It’s a lovely way to highlight some of your favourite photos. I must admit I do enjoy dipping in and out of your 365 images – sometimes they’re so arty, it really gives a flavour of who you are.
i’m a funny old bird aren’t i? 😉
I tried and failed for the last 2 years. My camera usually starts playing up. Well done and they are amazing pictures.
why don’t you try using your phone? it’s always with you and cameras on phones are really quite good now. my 365 is all on my phone (apart from a couple). if 365 is too much maybe a 52 project, one photo a week?
I honestly couldn’t commit to a daily photo but I am making an effort to take better photos this year.
it’s more about the journal of what you’ve been up to that really caught my attention, i don’t worry too much about whether it’s a good photo or not. what i think is good other may think is rubbish so i don’t worry to much. but it’s great to look back on x
It’s not as bad as you’d think once the habit has been formed.
it becomes quite a normality quite quickly, however since phones have had cameras i’ve always been a bit snap happy! 😉
I do love the way capture the everyday but make it amazing xxx
thank you angie, i’m not amazing but thank you x
I adore every single one of these photographs, you know I’m your biggest fan! The colours in the Gallerie Lafayette (sp?) photo are amazing, I love the oldy-worldy ness of Rooster on the gate, the wistfulness of the Vietnamese girl, the eerieness of the mist in the park and the challenge in your selfie. I’ve not seen December’s photo and I apologise that I don’t get the chance to pop across to your daily 365s as much as I’d like to, because they are always a treat.
Thanks for sticking with the project and being a wonderful ambassador for it.
you always make me cry!!! thank you for all the support and encouragement for me to join in the project in the first place. it feels such a part of me and who i am now. also thank you for the encouragement to spend lots of spondoolies on a real grown up camera too, slowly slowly i’m getting there!
I always start with good intentions but suddenly remember at 10pm that I haven’t taken one for that day and fall off the band wagon
That’s a fantastic set of pics! Well done you! 🙂
Your photos are gorgeous…
I know exactly what you mean about things taking longer so you can get snaps of everything x
Lots of fantastic pics and i especially like the one with you from march 🙂
