for the last few years, we have been enjoying a christmas winter break. now i love the sun, i really do, but a winter break in the english countryside is very nearly high up there on my favourite holidays. school is out. childcare is scarce, so holiday time it is. we’ve been to cornwall, we’ve been to yorkshire and then fell in love with the north norfolk coast and went for couple of years back to back. this year we thought we would start back at the beginning. cornwall. so here we are on the home turf of the country kids, coombe mill!
here we are on our first day, exploring our new digs.
just outside our cottage ronnie discovers a little railway track, more of that tomorrow at 4pm!
ronnie is really coming on leaps and bounds with his camera and insists in taking it everywhere we go. love him.
we take a stroll along the other side to the bridge where we cross the river camel once on the other side we are greeted by the stinky pigs! oink oinkarghhhhhhhhhhh there’s a croc in the pond!goats having a munchsome coy deer keeping a very watchful eye on ushello horseychook close upand that’s full circle right back to the start, to the sheep outside our front door
oh hang on, wait a moment, there’s a pirate ship to explore too! aye aye captain ronnie
so there we have it, our first day at coombe mill.
I love to see our farm as discovered a fresh with new eyes. Loving your tour round and the great picture quality. I shall be out comparing cameras with you in the morning!
