a little while ago i posted about stopping to look at the leaves in your garden. well i’m about to do it again. sorry for the repetition folks, but tough, i like a good leaf i do.
the leaves that i bring to you today, are not however from my back garden, as it is small and i have pretty much exhausted those ones already, now that would be repetitive! no, these ones are from my parents garden. they have a fabulous garden. full of very different and interesting plants, plants from a much hotter and humid climate. much more structural, architectural and 3D. so here you go, spanish leaves.

Some fabulous leafage going on here! It’s amazing the diversity of plantlife. anyhoo, I love those steps in the last photograph and that is one seriously awesome lookig cacti! x
there is one behind the cactus at the front that is taller than the house! the volume of plants in their garden is pretty ridiculous.
AWESOME BEAUTY! And I LOVE the 3rd photo – I saw them in Sicliy and loved them – they are like nettles with bright pink paint on!
That’s an awesome garden and a half, I hope you enjoyed your time there and relaxed – are you home now? x
finally home now. came back from holiday and then went to vietnam for work for 3 days. shattered. maybe ronnie, ozzy and kitty could do a grandparent swap so we can explore each other gardens!
What beautiful photos. Your parents garden puts my spanish garden to shame (unless you fancy rocket salad for lunch, there’s lots of that!)
the sheer volume of plants they have managed to squeeze in is pretty phenomenal really. actually rocket is my favourite salad leaf so I’m guessing the invite is in the post! X
