last weekend already seems such a long time ago. i miss last weekend already. you see i had kindly been invited by holiday cottages.co.uk to stay for a weekend in one of their converted barns in bradworthy in north devon. the added bonus was that 13 other bloggers had also been invited so much fun was indeed to be had.
going wild at camp bestival 2015
i know, it’s hard to believe it but yes we did, we went back for more!
that doesn’t make me a camper though, so don’t worry too much. this year we totally relied on the hospitality of the hotel bell tent people to keep me a content a happy camper!
kano – the HPMcQs learn to code
well that was fun!
today we finally got to open our box of orange computer goodness. we were sent it from the good people at kano and we’ve had it for a week or so, but we wanted to save it for the easter holidays when we could give it our total and undivided attention. now i’m not a particularly techy kinda girl, the fact that i manage to upload photos to this blog is pretty impressive for me to be fair.
i don’t understand computer talk, it totally baffles me. tell me how to do stuff in simple terms, great, i’m good to go, start telling me about processors, storage and solid state drives then you have lost me. yes that does mean you Mr HPMcQ.
the stick man – review
stick man lives in the family tree
with his stick lady love
and their stick children three…
an intro to a book we have read many many times, and am pretty confident we will read many many times more still. julia donaldson and axel scheffler created this master piece, you may recognise their names from the gruffalo stories too. however this is not a review of the book, oh no, this is for the live show that has been very cleverly adapted from the book by the rather clever and wonderful people from the award wining scamp theatre.
the sticker club – review
so imagine you are 5, very very nearly 6, what in the world is your most favourite thing other than lego and cake? oh yeah, you got it right there, stickers. stickers are always a sure winner whether they be football, lego, aliens, cars, dinosaurs as long as they stick to something pretty much anything goes!
so when we received an email asking us whether we would like to review a new venture called the sticker club clearly our answer was always going to be YES!
