Flamingo! Don’t believe i’ve ever seen one! Love the pink of his feathers against the green. x

what’s even more amazing was when he stood up to go and get some food he momentarily flapped his wings out and the tips are all black! such a contrast. so beautiful.
For a brief moment I thought this was an ornament in your garden. But not having seen your garden and without knowing your taste in ornaments I can only believe it to be real. In which case – WOW!

we have met. do i look like the kind of gal that would have a flamingo ornament lurking in my bush? wink wink x
I love this picture. Do feel a bit sorry for him though, what’s happened to his legs?!? π
he is sitting on them in the nice cool shade. i feel sorry for him too with me prancing around trying to get a half decent shot!
What an extraordinary shot! Makes me think of Alice in Wonderland!
weirdly we watched that yesterday, the caterpillar freaked the hell out of ronnie and he need a big cuddle to bring him back to it!
Ah, poor mite. It is pretty scary though!
Are you referring to me? Ha ha

What an amazing picture. I don’t think I have ever seen one so close up before.
It let me get to about a meter before it got twitchy and I backed off!
Aww lovely flamingo!

That is completely surreal!

Oh that is just awesome!
thank you x
I love flamingo, never seen one alone like that though! Great shot.
there were three more just round the corner. all standing on one leg with their heads back to front. think he was just getting some “me” time.
