a sleepover in shoreditch? with the streets empty first thing on a saturday morning, so how could i resist.
a perfect summers morning in the east end of london, with an hour to kill before the shops open. what else better to do than take a wander amongst the streets discovering the hidden wonders of shoreditch. i’ll have to break todays shots down over a number of posts as i took so so many. so in no particular order i will start here right at the beginning of my day.
we had spent the earlier part of our day pottering in and around the barbican. but after standing in one too many queues, for far too long, we decided to retreat and head east for a walk amongst the streets of shoreditch, followed by some delicious lunch and some ping-pong action at shoreditch house. below you will see some wonderful street art that we took in along our way, on our saturday shoreditch stroll. stunning as always, these artists are so damn clever. i really want to have a go!
i’ve been on quite and black and white trip this week, so when walking in shoreditch and you come across such colours to feast your eyes on, it’s hard not to take notice and of course take a few photos.
i’m a big fan of graffiti and street art, not the mindless scrawling of nonsense mind, but the honed and outrageously fantastic skills of some of the artists is mind-blowing. the colour, the scale can simply be breathtaking. let me share some gems from chance & ebor street in londons shoreditch E1.
