this poppy sits in the front garden of one of the houses opposite ours. it is big. seriously big. it’s the size of a side plate. so blooming stunning. the colours in this photo have not been tinkered with at all. and i like a tinker. how stunning is this flower. it looks almost like fire.

Gorgeous poppy – so vibrant, a little orb of fire.
there was just one when i took this, now there are 8! it’s amazing. i’ve knocked and asked if i can take seeds when they have finished flowering, need these in my garden too!
