ronnies school is 75 years old. to celebrate this milestone, there has been lots of different activities going on around the school. today when i arrived to pick rooster up, all the children had each been given a gift tag, which were decorated with paint and glitter and purple ribbon. on the back and individual message from each and every child. each child then tied them to the top of the fence of the playground. there they flapped in the evening breeze, and they looked so lovely and pretty, how could i not take a quick snap.
a button breakthrough
ronnie does not like buttons. i documented what i thought was a previous breakthrough here, however i quickly discovered it was not. button “gate” has continued since. as it has heated up over the last couple of weeks, ronnie has point-blank refused to take his school jumper off, insisting that he is not hot. this is indeed a lie, and he is clearly hot. but he will not take his jumper off, because underneath there is a polo shirt, and polo shirts have buttons. three of the buggers.

roulette surprise
a couple of weeks back we did some potting. however we didn’t really know what the seeds were, as we had lost the labels. so we potted away anyway, and called it potting roulette!
below are some snap shots of where we are so far with the results, there are many more plants which have buds but haven’t flowered yet, so our potting roulette continues!
