well i guess the easter weekend had to come to an end at some point
we’ve done lots
we watched pirates in 3d, played in the park, wondered when naughty friday is, eaten our body weight in barbecued prawns, make some new artwork for the teapot, drank booze and a little more booze, eaten dinner at the savoy, got home past midnight, spent time with the in-laws and scoffed fabulous amounts of chocolate because we could and it would most certainly be wrong not to.
we’ve scooted round the park
swung on the swings
slid down the slide, sitting, laying, backwards and sideways
gone round and round on the roundabout
ronnie is sitting on my lap by the gates of the park and we are scoffing a 99 with a flake
my good lord above in 6 months time
ronnie will be going to school
no longer my baby, my toddler, my pre-schooler
this will make him a really big boy
so there’s a family
in that family there’s just one child and just one parent works, that parent earns 64k
0% child benefit
next door there’s another family
they too just have one child but both parents work and they both earn 32k which *grabs calculator* makes the total household income 64k
oh and ronnie has an ice-cream tub on his head
it was a phase, thankfully a phase that passed
