instead of sharing the moment we found out that i/we were pregnant, i thought i’d share the moment my parents found out that their one and only was with child.

for as long as i can remember i’ve not really liked babies. amongst all my friends i was the one that was likely not to have a child any time in the near future.

i have been excited all week after being prompted by love new blogs  to get in the christmas spirit. so the week started with making some new decorations and paper chains and today the tree has gone up, and the 3 kings are on their way to the manger. happy christmas father christmas is coming!

we had been pondering for quite some time what to do about roosters school

we have one round the corner which is good, all the kiddie winks on the close go there

however they are a bit older than our monkey and it has become very popular in more recent years, i know many who haven’t been able to get in due to siblings etc and then end up getting sent to a school miles away, and in neighbour hoods (i’m sure they probably just say hood, d’ya get me) that  i have only frequented by driving straight through in a locked car or just once and i ran in and our on a purely emergency basis only. so anyway this school allocation thing started making me a little twitchy.
