have pondered about this all week, pondered too long really and in hindsight should have just sat and written my first thoughts. so i scrapped what i had written and am just going for it.
What was your happiest event?
after trying for a long time and then going through a really rough ride on ivf, some very close friends of mine fell pregnant naturally whoop whoop.
What was the saddest thing to happen?
ronnies grandparents decided that it was more important for them to go on holiday than be around for his birthday. nice
What was the most unlikely thing to happen that actually went ahead and did?
i started to blog, then i didn’t and then i did!

Tell us three things your child did to make you feel proud
1. ronnies independence is great. something we want to nature more and more
2. ronnie has good manors, he says please and thank you without prompting
3. ronnies creativity is outstanding, he loves making and drawing, he will watch me with intensity and then will repeat exactly what he saw so that he can “do it by myself”. he often initiates craft at nursery making things for everyone so they can all play together
Tell us one thing that made you proud of yourself
when the shit hit the fan at work, i mean flying all over the god damn place, somehow not quite sure how as a team we worked our socks off and got everything back on track in an incredible time. what followed were promotions for many of my team and then a surprise one for me too.
Tell us one challenge you overcame
there are still challenges in my life which i had hoped to overcome in 2011, i think however things aren’t that simple and it might take more than 2012 to overcome too sadly, as one particular challenge has been going for the best part of 7 years
Is there anything you would like to change about your life in 2012?
i think there’s more of me that i need to explore. there’s certainly more i could challenge myself to. i work hard so that i can give my family stuff and bits and bobs they deserve. i think i need to work on the working hard to give myself some time for myself.
