i started this blog back in march last year. i was inspired by a friend who was dabbling in the blogging world, however i wasn’t very confident with it all and only published a post every now and then and certainly didn’t tell anyone about it.
something changed in november and i decided to go for it a bit more and i publicity published my first real post to the big wide bloggasphere. it was nerve wracking. it still is.
over the last couple of months i have met some wonderful new bloggers & tweeters and now feel slightly ridiculous at my hesitation of joining in.
i have even taken the plunge and bought my ticket to britmums live, now this will be scary, for sure. coming out in the open, almost exposed, will have me shaking in my boots, or what ever footwear is appropriate on the day.
what has been wonderful is that i have taken much inspiration from follow bloggers. i’ve always been fond of taking a snap or two, and it was once commented that my son must be the most photographed child in london, in the kind of way that i shouldn’t take so many? strange yes but yes they were probably right, but i don’t really care much. i was inspired to take part in the 366 photo project by the boy and me, who had successfully completed a 365 the previous year (leap year folks). and what a joy it has been so far. i have truly discovered that i do love taking photos. now i do not claim to be a photographer of any shape or form, but what i do love are photos, especially of people and moments that you love and should capture for eternity. my stairs can vouch for that, 79 so far andstill room for a few more!
if you have enjoyed viewing my photos as much as i have enjoyed taking them, please take a moment to vote for me by clicking the link below, that’s only if you fancy though & many thanks to you if you do fancy it x

Love your stairs it looks bloody fantastic, it’s exactly what I want to do but have never got round to it and I’ll be there at Britmums too. It’ll be the 1st time I’ve ever been anything on my own as I used to blog with someone but not anymore. So I’m feeling a bit shy 🙁
