june kicks off a lot of blogging events. some of which i have been to before, some of which i wish i had gone to but couldn’t. next year i tell myself, next year. this year however i decided that i wouldn’t attend one that i have for a few years now but still take some time out to wander around the wondrous streets of shoreditch catching up on what has happened to the vibrant walls over the last couple of months. this totally included a sit down with a glass of prosecco at the end of it, with some wonderful blogging friends who had attended the event.

a perfect summers morning in the east end of london, with an hour to kill before the shops open. what else better to do than take a wander amongst the streets discovering the hidden wonders of shoreditch. i’ll have to break todays shots down over a number of posts as i took so so many. so in no particular order i will start here right at the beginning of my day.

i was east side again this saturday afternoon, but this time all on my tod. after leaving nanny minnie’s i fancied a little wonder. so instead of heading down to the regents canal, i headed a little further east, to the hertford union canal (ducketts canal), a short stretch of canal originally opened in 1830 as a short cut, which links up the regents canal to the lee navigation.
