as you may or may not know the dulwich festival commenced on the 10th may and runs for 9 days. as part of the festivities, there is a great collaboration between the dulwich picture gallery and a handful of cherry picked street artists from around the world, to create an open air art museum on the leafy streets of dulwich. the project is called baroque the streets, i blogged about it here.
today on the way home from school pick up i came across an artist in action. his name is liqen, he is an artist and painter from vigo in spain. in the photo below you can just about see his hand reaching out from the cherry picker, painting the side of a house on crystal palace road. i will pop back in a couple of days to see the completed work and post it here in all it’s glory.
