so imagine you are 5, very very nearly 6, what in the world is your most favourite thing other than lego and cake? oh yeah, you got it right there, stickers. stickers are always a sure winner whether they be football, lego, aliens, cars, dinosaurs as long as they stick to something pretty much anything goes!
so when we received an email asking us whether we would like to review a new venture called the sticker club clearly our answer was always going to be YES!
the sticker club is the brain child of henry bennet and paul loram, two fathers with 5 children between them.
after signing upto various subscriptions to keep all their brood entertained, they noticed that like every single child in the universe, stickers were always the first thing they all fought over, they were always the favourite without a doubt. however henry and paul always felt that the designs of the stickers were rather disappointing.
the sticker club was born.
they rounded up a team of talented illustrators and designers to create collections of brilliant stickers, which for £1.99 a week, will be delivered directly to your child in a bright yellow hand crafted envelopes.
so what were ronnie’s thoughts on receiving his bright yellow envelope full of fun?
look mummy loads of stickers! win
mummy i’ve got an idea, lets draw a forest for all the animals
tah dah! my i introduce to you the finished master piece
so basically, the sticker club went down an absolute storm in the HPMcQ house.
mummy when is it next week?
disclosure : as i said in the introduction we were sent stickers from the sticker club for the purpose of a review. our opinions are our own and we have been completely honest, i’m sure you will agree.
Aww I love that the stickers inspired him to create a work of art. I love that this subscription service is a great pocket money treat
the joy of the yellow envelope just keeps giving!
What a truly lovely idea. I think kids appreciate things that are sent out on a subscription so much more than they do when it’s simply bought in a shop. I’m definitely going to have a look at this for my lot.
they are fab, and because you get a couple of different sets in each envelope and every envelope is different the options are endless
Well done Ronnie! Lovely way to use your stickers!
he does love making stuff and creating 🙂
It goes without saying that the sticker club sounds an amazing idea.
Did you say he’s only nearly 6? And that he drew that? It’s really rather rather good and my almost 7 year won best prize for drawing at school. You must be very proud.
to be fair i drew the tree on the left and then he copied it on the right hand side and did the rest. he gives it a good go though!
wow his drawing is amazing too! Mine love stickers too so I need to take a look at this!
he might have had some direction….
I love the idea. Amy is absolutely obsessed with stickers and as they end up all over the house, they might as well be cool, right?
Love Ronnie’s masterpiece, he’s a much more skilled artist than I am x
what is it with stickers, i remember being quite obsessed when i was little too, not as glorious as these though!
A very talented boy – and a great idea. Think we might join The Sticker Club
do it, it’s an envelope of fabulousness every week!
ooh my two used to love stickers (I still do!)
ha ha do you fight them for the stickers? mine no mine!
Stickers are the ultimate kid currency arent they! Syd would love those!
back in my day it was all about smelly rubbers too!
oh my gosh, my kids would adore that!
what kids wouldn’t!
My girls love stickers.Ronnie has been very imaginative with his, which proves what a great they are.
great to get their imaginations going, we also did a mad professors lab with robots!
