last week we pottered off to whipsnade zoo. when i say we i mean me, rooster and Mr HPMcQ with a whole heap of other bloggers and their kiddies too. a grand total of 6 bloggers damson lane, mammasaurus, actually mummy, cheetahs in my shoes & being mrs c and our 10 children and one Mr HPMcQ. it was also Mr HPMcQs birthday.
it was a glorious day in many ways, the sun was shining, the children played really nicely together and a great group of what were online friends cemented their real life friendships further. they also sang Mr HPMcQ happy birthday and served him cake what else could any man want.
so without any further nattering, here follows a very photo heavy post, so no change there then! x
Ahhh happy times!

What an awesome group of bloggers all together at one of my favourite childhood haunts! I remember having my 10th birthday party at Whipsnade. Is it still freezing up by the penguins? Fab photos as ever. Thank you for sharing with me on Country Kids
we didn’t have time to get all the way round, which can only mean another meet up right?
i am so jealous! i always wanted to visit whipsnade but never managed while we were in uk. lovely pictures!
maybe we could sneak a trip in when you are over for the MADs?
Awww – I want to go again soon. I nearly bunked off work to go on my own today but was a bit more sensible. Such a perfect day x

Some really fabulous captures there, I can’t even begin to choose just one. So glad you all had a fab time together, wish I had been there. Mich x

That flamingo shot is awsome. Laughing at the hippos – they almost don’t look real do they?
Whipsnade is just up the road from me I’m gutted I couldn’t make this rendezvous but I was otherwise engaged.
We love Whipsnade though, in fact Granny took Ruby the very next day after you lot had descended!

It was such a wonderful day and your photos are stunning. Not a fence in sight! I hope Mr HPMcQ had a fantastic birthday.
