so last weekend was pretty much a write off. so this week was about getting us all back on track and out and about to enjoy the spring time that is clearly blooming all around us. after the cabin fever induced weekend of last, it’s been absolute joy to be out and about in the cold sunny spring air
up and out bright and early and off to the tate modern for a spot of cultural pottering and loitering
ronnie : mummy why have you chopped your winky off?
hpmcq : i haven’t chopped it off, i didn’t have one in the first place ronnie, i’m a girl and girls don’t have winkies
ronnie : what have you got then?
hpmcq : i have a nunny. girls have nunnies and boobies and boys have winkies and ghoulies.
ronnie : is that like girls have baskets on their push bikes and boys don’t?

this subject seems to keeping popping its little head up a lot recently with friends, family and workies. today a very old (not old in age, but time) friend of mine, one from primary school, emailed me to ask if i remembered mrs lang one of our primary school teachers. of course i do she was probably one of the first people in my life outside of family to make such a huge impact in the way i was going to grow up and be. so i thought i would take some time to reflect on who in my life has made me the way i am, just so you know.
