does anyone know what these are?
i spotted them in a front garden of a house just down the road from us
aren’t they magnificent!
the owner popped out and encouraged me to take some seeds
so i did
he didn’t know what they are either, thought they might be weeds
beautiful weeds i say
They’re bears breeches, Latin name Acanthus mollis, definitely not weeds, but they can be quite vigorous if they’re happy! I’ve got some in my back garden that have crept in from the neighbour. I love them.
